Caterham Super Seven 2000 - Test Drive
Share
A sunny day is ideal for testing a vehicle like very few seen today, and I'm not just talking about open wheels.
Indeed, finding something pure, unfiltered, focused on the driving experience without various frills, including power brakes, is now impossible. The closest experience to this Caterham might be an MX-5 2.0, but there would still be a difference.
That's right, because the limited-slip differential, sports seats, and crisp, precise gearbox are present in both, but on the Caterham, everything is taken to the extreme of what can be road-legal. And let's face it, the style of driving around with such a long nose and British aesthetics is unparalleled. Or rather, it will cost you 70k for a Super 2000 model with a 170hp Ford engine; but it's money well spent!
Special thanks to Romeo Ferraris for providing the car.
I won't tell you anything else, there's the video review
