Monaco Historic Grand Prix 2026

Monaco is already picturesque on its own.
But when you fill it with historic Formula 1 cars, Ferrari Classics, legendary liveries and real noise, it becomes almost unreal.
We attended the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique 2026, held every two years, one of those events where you're not sure if you're watching a race, a parade, a moving museum, or simply the dream of anyone who grew up with the myth of Formula 1.
The best part? Probably the Ferrari Classic parade, led by none other than Sir Jacky Ickx himself in his 1968 Ferrari 312 F1.

A red, elegant, and noisy procession through the Principality's curves; all the cars that made modern F1 history, including Schumacher's.

And then, of course, Monaco remains Monaco: beautiful, narrow, cruel.
Jean Alesi, who crashed into the wall with a 1969 Ferrari 312 during the weekend, also reminded us of this. A painful moment to watch, but also incredibly real: these cars are not just concourse jewels; they are machines born to race. And when you take them through tunnels, chicanes, and guardrails, risk is still part of the game. Or it can happen that you have to stop due to a breakdown and watch the race from behind the barriers in the Piscine area, like Franco Meiners after stepping out of his legendary one-off Ferrari 312B3 "snowplow."

Beyond the standings, lap times, and results, what truly remains are the vibes: the noise echoing between the buildings, the light of the sea, the crowded grandstands, the single-seaters that seem to have stepped out of another era, and that very particular feeling that only Monaco can provide.
An elegant, chaotic, noisy, extremely expensive, nostalgic weekend. In a word: perfect.
