WRC Sardinia 2024 — dust, speed, and zero margin for error
Share
The Rally Italia Sardegna 2024, a round of the World Rally Championship, remains one of the toughest and most authentic events on the calendar. There’s no room for compromise here: asphalt/gravel, high temperatures and narrow special stages, where making a mistake by a few centimetres means rolling over and being out.
It’s a rally that puts everything under pressure: drivers, tyres, mechanics.
Final standings?
- 🥇 Ott Tänak (Hyundai) — winner
- 🥈 Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) — second
- 🥉 Dani Sordo (Hyundai) — third
Our group of enthusiasts travelled by ferry, slept on the inner deck where the icy drafts convinced us to book a cabin for next time, and finally arrived, after endless detours aboard DavidOne's hybrid Yaris, at the Friday special stages:
- SS1 / SS3 — Osilo – Tergu (25.65 km)
- SS2 / SS4 — Sedini – Castelsardo (13.26 km)

On Saturday, we secured a spot to watch:
- SS5 / SS8 — Tempio Pausania (≈12 km)
- SS6 / SS9 — Tula – Erula (≈22 km)
- SS7 / SS10 — Coiluna – Loelle (≈21 km)

We are very proud that for us, Sardinia isn't about glamorous clubs and the "vida loca," but rather the dust kicked up by rally cars!
